Property Claims Representative, Courtney Hartman, truly embodies Donegal’s commitment to being There when it matters most™.
As a deep freeze took hold across much of the country over the 2022 holiday season, a Donegal policyholder found herself without heat or hot water in northeastern Pennsylvania. Courtney Hartman was assigned to the claim once filed. She continuously checked in on the policyholder and stayed in touch until the claim was complete. Thanks to Courtney, the policyholder was able to enjoy Christmas with her family.

We asked Courtney a few questions to help you get to know her better:
How long have you worked at Donegal? I started with Donegal in July of 2019 in the call center, with no prior insurance experience. After working in the call center for just about six months, I was then promoted to the property department in early 2020.
What made you choose claims? I chose to apply to the property department as I was interested in the wide variety of claims they handle.
What do you love most about your job? I love the people I work with in the property department, along with being able to help our customers with their claims while understanding the process of the claims.
How do you spend your time outside of work? I enjoy being at home with my boyfriend and our puppy, Maxey. When not at home, we enjoy traveling. Especially to Avalon, N.J. every other weekend each summer.
