Donegal® Announces Latest Officer Promotion
MARIETTA, PA (July 23, 2024) – Donegal Insurance Group® announced today the promotion of Caleb Landis to Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lines Systems Development.
In this elevated role, Landis succeeds Barb Doyle, who will retire in September as Vice President of Commercial Lines Systems. Doyle’s upcoming retirement caps an esteemed 38-year insurance career – including the past three decades with Donegal.
“We understand that we have big shoes to fill with Barb’s departure,” said Mike Clement, Vice President of Information Services. “However, Caleb’s experience as a Commercial Lines systems developer, coupled with his past 4+ years of working within our ongoing systems modernization efforts, has allowed him to forge a unique skill set. In this capacity, he has worked closely with the business and IS in leading analysis, design, and implementation efforts.”
Landis joined the Donegal team 11 years ago, as a web developer within the Commercial Lines team working under Doyle. He transitioned to the application integration team four years ago when Donegal launched its ongoing, large-scale, multi-year systems modernization effort. Since then, Landis has served in various leadership capacities – most recently, as Information Services Manager.

Landis will continue to be based out of Donegal’s Home Office in Marietta, Pa.
