They’re our colleagues and our friends. Our leaders, and our mentors. And according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, they number more than 1.7 million, making up 59 percent of the total workforce of America’s insurance industry.
As Women’s History Month comes to a close, we’re dedicating this latest issue of Donegal’s Agent Newsletter to the talented women who are making vital, innovative contributions every day across all sectors of our industry. When we decided on this theme late last year, we knew it would be a challenge to choose which women to profile. What we didn’t anticipate, however, was just how hard it would be to narrow our selection down to a reasonable number.
In this issue, we’re sharing vignettes on seven different powerhouse women in insurance, each occupying a different, but equally critical role within Donegal and our network of independent agents. We hope that you’re inspired by their stories and their advice –applicable to not only women in insurance, but those across the industry, regardless of gender or level in their career!
